I’m so glad you found me here. Welcome!
I've been exploring this path more and more deeply as a student of Psychology and Religion, a practitioner of Yoga, as an educator, and as a woman in recovery since I began around 1994.
These days, I’m prioritizing rest and recovery as primary to my teaching and practice… And,
You can find me in my regular weekly class, Resource + Recovery, Tuesday nights on Zoom from 7-8:30 pm ET. In this class, we combine a community sharing space and accessible Yoga practice appropriate for beginners, people in recovery from challenges or addiction, or anyone seeking connection and support. Register here.
Weekly Yoga, Writing, and Recovery sessions will resume soon. Stay tuned!

What is Yoga, anyway?
Yoga, in my experience, is a system of practices - body, mind, and spirit - and concepts - attitudes, ethics, and values - which ground us in our inherent wholeness.
The practice of Yoga is an evolving one, and my own experience with it has led me to a profound sense of inner peace, faith, and understanding. My own practice today is a slow, breath-centered Vinyasa flow. I also enjoy a still, deep practice like Yin or Restorative. Meditation and pranayama (breath practices) are a daily habit for me as well. I live and breathe with gratitude the connection to life and spirit that this practice gives, every day. I've led group and individual private practice since 2008.
Yoga is, for me, a means to “connect the dots” on a physical, mental, and energetic level. I especially have always held an interest in the intersection of personal practice, the study of Yoga ethics, and the potential generative impact of deep self-study and embodied practice on community and culture. This has motivated my community-based work since the very early days.
I became a Leadership Trainer for Y12SR in 2016, leading trainings within the US and carrying the message of the power of embodiment, ethics, and spiritual growth towards a path of sustainable addiction recovery.
Since 2008, I’ve been offering to students and to anyone on a path of inquiry the same tools that have given me a profound sense of wholeness - and with it, the resilience to navigate a challenging and changing world with integrity, balance and whole-heartedness.
